XOM VOLUME WEIGHTED AVERAGE PRICE
#21

Here's the bad news update.

Here's the latest 10 day volume weighted average price calculation.  The weighted average price of XOM is up $3.05 per share since the hearing date on 9/27/16.  The 10 day volume weighted average price has gone up every single day since then.  Could it be that XOM hired PM to file a lawsuit on the deal when it appeared that XOM price was tanking, in order to buy time for the price to recover and thereby pay a lot less for IOC?  Not likely, but if they did, they are brilliant!

$86.68 10-Oct-16
$86.21 7-Oct-16
$85.90 6-Oct-16

$84.39 9/29/2016
$84.16 9/28/2016
$83.63 9/27/2016

Once again, here's is the lastest update on the rolling "10 day volume weighted average closing price of XOM common shares."    The price peaked on Oct 13 at 87.16 and has begun a slight decline but is still well above the court date price of 83.63 on Sept 27.  Today XOM closed unchanged at $86.54.  So if our "deal" closes in two days, we will be paying a PREMIUM ABOVE TODAY'S MARKET PRICE of 50 cents per share for XOM shares from our $45.00 per IOC share payment.  At this point we might as well hope for a longer delay and falling oil prices.

Maybe other shareholders should sue Mulacek for making the deal worse for them, especially if he gets something better!!!

In the military they call it "friendly fire."  Thanks Phil.

XOM price is back down. If it stays that way a while and the Yukon Supreme court take a week or two to resolve the appeal, we might just come out of this with our asses intact.

Wait till they announce 20 percent of their reserves at these prices are not recoverable !! Think that effects the stock price of Exxon ???

Here's the update through today for the volume weighted 10 day rolling average price of XOM.

Today was the largest volume since Oct 12, being 2x or more than most prior days.  It's also the lowest close since Sept 27.  Reading the news on XOM it sounds like the pps could be heading a lot lower in a prolonged fashion.  If so, and assuming this deal closes in the next 2 weeks, I suspect it could be a while before our XOM shares recover to the price we will likely pay.  At least it now looks like we won't be paying peak price.

Good time to just sell deep in the money calls and lock in a price I would expect.
