Given all that has happened since the cc, I have reached a conclusion that I admit I find intriguing. We have seen every kind of short attack that dates back 5 years, all the knives are out. Mgmt has lost control of the process, the resource is flawed, bids are low, etc. Seriously, can anyone think of a short arguement that hasn't been recycled? Slings and arrows from all directions including pps.
Someone posted that two deep pocketed hedge funds would never cover unless there was a buyout. I found that comment what a poker player would call a "tell". Is there anyone long here that states they would never sell this stock unless it is bought out? It's the same logic/bravado, no? There has to be some collusion involved somewhere in the shadows. Demoralizing the shareholders is the goal and psychological torment is the weapon of choice. It seems to me to be escalating as well. The old adage applies, if you want someone to see your point of view grab them by the wallet.
It's an incredible high stakes game being played behind the scenes and we'll never know for sure. I recall Hemi posting a while back about preparing for a disinformation onslaught. How prophetic.
It's only a hunch, but it seems logical to me for someone to step up here and make a play for the entire company. I'm not advocating a buyout just expressing what my spider senses are telling me.
Thoughts?
