EWC just keeps defying the naysayers. Kind of like our lil 'ol IOC. Last Friday EWC put out a release stating that after a 96 hour net dependency test it has passed with flying colors on the expansion and operation of its Sengkang Power Plant in Indon. With that accomplishment they now are providing a max of 255MW of electricity in full operation. This was the first 60MW expansion of the 120MW expansion planned. This is the "only gas-fired power generation plant" in the province and is something that will pique O'Neill's interest. He went to Indon not long ago to see EWC's operations in Indon including the planned LNG plant. That project will be watched very closely by PNG me thinks.
