Nostradamas is back

Yeah, Tree, good job. "E&P farm ins 237 and 8" suggests proposals expanded beyond E/A to include money up front to be part of drilling the dinos and mammals. Makes sense if you're going to do it you might as well "go large".

Sweet if all true. What's nice about the long arguments is they fit together nicely with facts in the field. The tieback to insiderr's March 20 post re the demand to remove Petromin and subsequent events is a great confirming observation.

A European source states MOU done for E/A and working on a second agreement for a farm with a BIG name .Sell down will fund all the future drilling plans. We wait .

Please pardon my lack of knowledge, and could someone please explain the basic differences between a farm-in agreement and a sell down.  Thank you.

JFT how has this source been in the past? I'm beginning to hear chatter of "think bigger than just E/A" which confirms what your being told

The evidence points to PTT as the exploration partner.

David- My dream is Exxon as operator nameplate. JKM deal for E/A with Exxon getting early NG for their third train and IOC getting all the condensates as the FIRST LNG plant is being built. Second train built in tandem with the first train with maybe Total.
And PTT to do a farm in agreement with the other possibilites. PRE to continue to develop Triceratops. As this becomes clear IOC fires up both rigs to get started, maybe uses the shelf fixed income side to bridge into the receipt of the sell down dollars. Now is this Phil's reality???

There ONE and ONLY Nostradamus is named Palmstradamus.  HoHoHoHo.

Movieguy - selldown gives a percentage ownership of the PRL 15, which includes E/A an existing resource find, to a SM, NoC or Utility consortium that meet numerous requirements to get the gas to market, including financing, expertise, experience, cash, offtakes, etc etc.  Farm-in gives an percentage ownership to an unexplored or lightly explored licence (PPL 237 for example) for the purposes of expiditing expoloration to discover a resource.

Keep it on Ice!

Tx - truth is no one bats 100% on IOC information. This person no better than others. There are so many things not in the control of IOC and its Management team. Think Petromin stuff, treaty needs with Japan and Thailand and what about the Koreans which we have not heard about a treaty with them?? It's makes me quite mad to think some think IOC will not get this done time . It will be done as quick as it takes for an International deal with multiple foreign governments. Those that are the maddest vs IOC sometimes are the ones owning out of the money IOC Long calls that expire worthless. Thats the buyers fault not IOC and its managers. The stock market can be a gambling casino or a way to make long term money. For those that want a quick hit go to Las Vegas .Of course that said we get a blockbuster deal next week. I can't time that . I hope others can.
