Looks to me like someone sold to close  the ITM calls for April and June. Same firm could have sold the April puts today. It's clearly not a rolling out situation.

Taru-The open interest isn't there for a closing position on my Fido screen anyway.These are new openning contracts per my Fido screen.Looks like a sale to that we agree.

In my opinion its time for that now huh. These were calls that were sold to open deep in the money. When you can't get stock to short and you use deep in the money calls your delta is high or the calls will drop in price almost as fast as the stock. Another way to short IOC and with a deal still a bit away they should make a few pennies. This was done in size so pennies adds up.

Further in the last 5 minutes I see stock covering. Or some hedgie shorting calls earlier and covering a short stock bet common is what I see on the screens. Their are other possibilities of course. This is my best guess FWIW. Have you ever seen me wrong ?? HUmm well yes!

Just look at the huge option volumes today. Particularly the in-the-monies. Obviously he was paid to try and bring the stock down so shorts can cover some with options.

Means of course that the shorts (as always) know that the bids are there and will close in the next couple of days or weeks. They desperately need to shake loose some stock and Adam Hoore will write for anybody who pays him
