Upon learning more of jft310's explanation of the Dickie Group web I have been looking around.  I saw that Whitney Tilson is involved with the group.  But today Mr. Tilson put out a Q2 letter about shorting Interoil.  I was surprised to see in the back of the letter a list of Phil Mulacek quotes that I believe "bonkthegrup" published on Yahoo with the title List Of Mulacek Deal Quotes or something like that.  Is it possible that Mr. Tilson is actually bonkthegrup?

jft310 what do you think?   I agree with Admin that it does not matter a huge amount but this Dickie Group business that jft310 has uncovered is intriguing.

I saw nothing new in Mr. Tilson's letter.  Nothing that has not been debunked here many times.  I have to say this is comforting.  If the Dickie Group represents the best of the shorts I feel very comfortable with my holdings.

I certainly can't prove Bonk is Tilson. It would appear as a minimum they share notes. For those that care about stock price movements and their direction then knowing who the source of the misinformation might be and to try to silence it would be deemed good information. The type and amount of misinformation has caught the eye of the SEC. So to those that care about free markets and care about their statement values it's quite valuable. I can't see a set of circumstances where this is not relevant information if long.
