Visit to NQ Beijing office this afternoon
#1

Hello everyone,

First allow me to introduce myself. I have lived in Beijing for a number of years, I live approx 15 min cab ride from the NQ office. After the MW report I bough in to NQ. I work in a foreign owned internet company and on seeing the ME report I asked both our CTO and IT admin about NQ. Bother of them immediately knew the company. They said they are not top tier like Baidu or Tencent but definitely exist. I then saw the 600 plus reviews on the Google play store and bought in.

anyway as I have a couple of days before the Xmas hols I visited the NQ Office today completely unannounced. I took 20 or so pics and can forward them on to anyone that is interested. Just PM me here and I will get them to you by tomorrow. Here is what I saw:

- the office is just off the second ring road not far from the Lama temple in Beijing. It is in a quite small IT park and easy to find. The security guards knew the location of the company immediately

- NQ has it's own building of a decent size. Not too plush and bling but pretty good by Chinese standards. All the time I was there which was about half an hour there was a steady stream of staff in and out of reception. It was busy, all staff with an ID card but security was low

- on the ground floor there was approx 8 offices plus meeting rooms. Each office with approx 10-20 staff and most seemed to be developers. It was quiet but entrepreneurial. It was. Not a call centre type environment. Anyone who has seen a Chinese delopment centre will know what I mean. Everyone seemed to be working, actually quite unusual in china. I would guess there area couple of hundred employees working here

- reception had a screen slide show with dated slides showing daily messages, Q3 results, client wins etc. I took pics of a few of the slides.

- I was brought into a meeting room with many certificates on the wall, pics of the timeline of the company development for each year etc. lots of material here. I took pics of most of it.

- as I had no appointment I was not allowed up to the higher floors but given Michelle's details from IR to arrange

As I said on seeking alpha I will leave the product reviews and financial analysis to others but I can guarantee you that the BJ office is very real and functioning. Felt confident in my investment leaving the place.

Happy Xmas to longs, I feel the odds are very substantially in our favour.

Yes, thanks for the effort. Toro took a picture as well, and contrasted it with that taken by MW, which really wasn't taken in good faith.

Mockbae63, I don't mean to be offensive but I found you paid too much attention to short turn price change.. you are keep asking why the price is moving up and down on here and on Yahoo MB. To me, this isn't a good investment strategy. Value investors should do their own research and analysis on the company instead of chasing the tide.

I agree, maybe I'm just over thinking it.

More people sold the stock than bought it Tongue

If you've got your own fixed ideas on the stock, don't let the shifting breeze unfix them. That's what prompts bad investors to buy high and sell low. If there's no news except changing share price, it shouldn't affect your position on the stock.

You're watching this forum, Yahoo boards, and google finance, so don't worry about other people getting news you haven't got; where else would it be posted?
