I have been told that Mega Majors either find hydrocarbons or buy them.

Juniors like IOC & OSH have proven they can find hydrocarbons in PNG.

Mega Majors prize these relatoinships as they bring reserve replacement ratios up for the mega's and supers. Growing future sales make those shareholders smile.
