Buy out at $85 ?
by iluvioc • 5 hours ago Flag
Buy out at $85.00? I don't think so. The $85 could be an offer for part of IOC. 2 reasons IMHO this is not a buy out offer. 1 the company is not sure at this point the total value of the company. Off the record they are extremely bullish regarding their properties and believe their wells will be prolific. 2 the buyer does not know the total value of the company. Should not buy something that you don't know the worth and should not sell something that you don't know the worth. There will be a time when those issues will be known and then, Katy by the door! I think you meant" [ KATY "BAR" THE DOOR ]
Katy bar the door: Meaning: 'Katy (or Katie) bar the door' means take precautions; there's trouble ahead.Origin: One suggestion as to the origin of the phrase is that it comes from the traditional Scottish folk-song 'Get Up and Bar the Door'. This was published by the Scottish song collector and editor David Herd, in his collection Ancient and Modern Scottish Songs, Heroic Ballads, etc., 1776. The basis of the song is the stubbornness of a husband and wife who disagree about who should lock the door to their house and make a pact that whoever speaks first should do it, thereby allowing 'two gentlemen' to enter the house uninvited.

Dmarque- When you said "BAR" the door, it made me think about Maui. With our "very interesting" week-end ahead of us b/4 Monday am, Maui might make sure the 'bar' is well stocked with rum and 'other liquids' so that it is at least(temporarily) a pleasant week-end. (Ha,ha). Happy hunting !

Must be a slow day here at SHU. No I meant by the door. Good old Katy did not bar the door so who knows what will be coming through it.
