"also put the MM on notice as well as inform the SEC as to the problem and their actions"
Ive always been amazed that they haven't already done this, and really made a point of it. As far as asking major shareholders to pull their shares back, I cant imagine that would get anywhere, except perhaps Chandler. I think the response would be "do a deal already" and it will take care of itself. I doubt the funds like to be "instructed" on how to manage their positions. Plus its been perhaps the most lucrative aspect of holding shares for some of them.

Why can the shorts play with a few shares and manipulate the stock price?? Always pays to know the why. Its the float and the size of it. Per the CC and CV was the speaker they have the answer and it is split the stock. The stock float increases and then its much harder to control the stock price. One person states when IOC hits a $100 and above and stays there they will split the stock 5 for 1. The further plan also from a CC is to list on an Asian exchange. I have been told they will list on the Singapore exchange. People need to ask why when IOC dropped below $10 did we still have 6 million shares short IOC?????Or the size of the rocket fuel is 4 million shares short.Further look at the Sept 2012 Institutional Holders List and see when IOC's stock price spiked to $99 very few shares were sold by those top Institutions. If they thought that was the top of the IOC price to come they would have sold and they didn't. Further Bonkie on yahoo says to have a plan when IOC spikes to $120 or even $150 as to what to do with your shares. Without knowing the details of the deal its impossible to make such plans in reality. How much cash will IOC recieve and when? Whose the partner??Whens production.Whats the price per mcf??etc. But at least think about it.
If IOC spiked to $99 without a deal then where will it spike with a deal.??

What to expect next from the manipulation? It appears that over the last 4 years they have completed the same manuever multiple times, and each time the same pattern shows up. We all know that news is ready to be announced at any time, but have to guess what and when that may be. A best guess for pps near future movement to expect next, would be looking at the repetitive past movement that the MM's have allowed, the next few weeks before option expiration for Dec the price should move up approx. 10 pts and then return back to the level we are now during the week of expiry. After a second bottom of the level where we are at now we will then be allowed to climb to new highs over a longer period of time and with whatever news comes out during that time. This is from a dummy (me) perspective of looking at the charts and predictable pattern of manipulation. Please don't use any of my opinion as a betting or buying advise. Just saying what looks obvious and what we may expect the pps to do no matter what the next news may be and/or when to expect it to come. On another note, I appreciate everyone's input on the board on all the different subjects that come up. Keep up the good work and enjoyable entertainment. GLTA Dorr

Agree door, initial 10-15 point pop, then a rollover. I would add, by my observation of what yu stated, that the average big move higher is around 10 weeks, timewise. Presently, this would put ioc thru a stepped up news period also. Makes sense
