From PNG Industry News article titled "PNG's political guru" out last night - looks like PNG's K6 billion loan from the Export-Import Bank of China was largely to fund the country's pro rata cost of the infrastructure expenses associated with InterOil's project. The positive indications keep flooding in lately.

“A good example of this is the K6 billion Export-Import Bank of China bank loan,” he said.. It is believed some of the Chinese funds will be used for PNG government spending in the InterOil-led Gulf LNG project, partly because the government generally says the Chinese funds are for “infrastructure”.

Part of the money is being spent in the IOC/LNG area. Who should pay for the roads, port, wharfs required to get an LNG plant up and running??Where's that line in the sand??. Connecting to the big cities of Port Moresby and to the Highlands with roads that work through the IOC/PNG area most would think is not an IOC infrastructure expense.Would the new port be used by others besides IOC??Talk of a Petro Park would lead one to conclude thats a govt expense. Definitely fuzzy . Definitley helps IOC proper roads etc.

Hi guys-Sorry about being off-topic but I glanced at Yazoo a few minutes ago and noticed that sussman said he is now long. Did anyone else see that? Is he just doing a con job on us,is it a false post or is he for real (becoming a long)?? Some inquiring minds may want to know!!

True and so sad. Now the distortion is being outdone by their own tactics. Everyone loses.

Which is exactly why we have SHU. No imposters here, apart from admin occasionally impersonating a liberal, but only on a slow day Smile
