PET a little credit to the person who found the information for you and posted under another thread would be appreciated. I spent 20 minutes finding this PRE information for you.
Or together we can be stronger.
I am sure it was but an over sight on your part and I for one appreciate your take on the info.
Me thinks you were excited no doubt.
Heres the thread.

So yes we agree IOC will use its two rigs plus the two from PRE per PRE. That link and story were posted here , But then alot of things are posted here.
Pet to JFT- I have searched the PRE website for this information and I can not find it. This is very important to the IOC story. Can you please direct us to this information with a link or copy and paste? Thanks for your help.
RE: Another Lucky Guess
JFT post to PET-This is not what was posted but it interesting as regards PRE. Look at their PRE's Open House 2013 slides. See on slide 99 of 119 that PRE plans to drill 3 wells in PRL 237 in 2013 and 7 wells in 2014. Kinda answers the question huh.Add in WA comment yesterday and we are off to the races.

Maybe you missed the last post on page 2:
RE: Another Lucky Guess
Thanks JFT and EFI for leading me here. I think I see something interesting. If you don't mind I think I will put it on a new thread.

I don't know what this is all about. You who takes everyone's information from everywhere. I noticed you have started giving credit sometimes. Very good for you.

By the way, using the information that you provided I have still not found any place where it clearly states that PRE will "provide" two rigs. Although since looking at their slides I hope it is true.

Also I doubt seriously that Wayne Andrews said we will have "8 rigs running fully funded". Can you please provide a source that can be checked. Something firm. Not "someone told me" or "I heard". Give a link for what you say so anyone can check it and read it for themselves. Your desire for credit for this little morsel in baffling.

Sorry you can't find the stories posted on this Board. The 8 rigs was also posted on this board . The comments were from the WA breakout session. Thats verbal and you know that.

The person who heard that so posted. When you find both these stories on this board let us know .

Heres what you as an engineer need to understand about Wall Street. Over 50% of the valuable information is verbal. Not emails, not reports but said one person to another.

Like information said from one person to another and than to another it sometimes gets twisted. Being an engineer you deal in facts and paper we all understand but thats not Wall

Street. The story of Raj Grupa is the real Wall Street.

Jft,

Get off pet's back, you're making yourself look petty in cries for attention. This isn't a beauty contest. If you want a blue ribbon I'm sure the SHU board could get you one.

Btw not just engineers appreciate facts.

Mkt. Prefers Rumors - Here's Rumors

From 3 sources in different US and Asian timezones:

Report on breakout session today:

WA made a point of stating PNG transactions have been from $.80-$1.20/Mcf .- Why say that unless IOC can beat it?

WA alluded to a fully funded 8 well annual drilling program - Wowzer.

Some say rumor of a $3-$4 billion transaction. - Is this 25% of PRL15?

WA quoted:

"We've got good interest and great advisers and should be able to announce something soon (soon = speedily, without delay, immediate),"

Some say SM will be operator as choice is between 2 now - SM yields larger pps pop upon announcement

IOC received PNG JVOA approval for LNG project - if true this is huge

Last weeks rumors:

IOC ready to announce Shell as partner

~$1.40 Mcf bids

IOC BoD headed to PNG this weekend.

Q: Put it all into the rumor grinder and what comes out?

A: Insighter Info.

So what happens and when kids?

What have others heard?

Ambitious PNG drilling plans; PRE getting attention

PRE is starting to get more and more attention with their comments on their IOC farm-in and excitement on what they see

Thursday, 18 April 2013

COLOMBIAN oil producer Pacific Rubiales Energy (PRE) has revealed plans to spud two wells in Papua New Guinea’s Gulf province in the December quarter, followed by another seven PNG wells in 2014.

Pacific Rubiales Energy has revealed plans for 7 PNG wells in 2014.

Prospects of interest. Map courtesy of Pacific Rubiales Energy.

PRE recently earned a 10% stake in InterOil’s petroleum prospecting licence 237 which hosts the Triceratops field but will earn a much bigger say in this licence if its drilling plans materialise.

A slide in PRE’s Investor Open House presentation this week unveiled plans to spud one PNG well in the early part of the December quarter and another towards the end of this period.

This slide revealed that one would be drilled in the Triceratops field while the other would be spudded in the Raptor prospect of PPL 237.

In a separate slide on PRE’s exploration drilling plans up to the end of 2017, the oil producer charted up that seven wells would be drilled in PNG during 2014, with these wells presumably all destined for PPL 237.

How it will source rigs and other associated equipment and services for such an undertaking is not clear at this stage.

Another slide placed other targets of interest on a PPL 237 map which included the Duro, Criolla and Sloppy prospects.

$1.40/mcf sounds realistic as a buyin but not likely the final bid.  It would seem if you go to $1.80-$2.00/mcf you might just as well buyout the whole company...time will tell

Attached is the slide from the PRE presentation showing that they are planning to drill 3 wells in PNG in 2013 and 7 in 2014.  Guess that's why they need these drilling people trained quickly.  They show the first one hapening in May and that was likely part of the JVOA approved by DPE this week.

What I have been hearing for some time was that plans were for two wells in Triceratops with PRE in the third and fourth quarters. Perhaps the first has been moved up to spud in May. That would be good. We've been waiting for a long time to see two wells drilling simultaneously, and it looks like we shall finally get there in upcoming months, maybe even three before very long. Elk 3, Antelope 4, Triceratops 3 and 4, Raptor/Duckbill 1, Tuna 1, Wahoo 1 on deck. WOW!!!
