Plenty of Room
#1

Sounded like there is enough room for 3 SMs

1 in PRL 15

1 in PPL 237

1 in a Gas Agreement for feedstock

BTW, the PA expiry fear at end of June was officially put to death.

I think you are exactly right Tree. The following exchange was very enlightening to me (with thanks to Gator for posting the transcript): :

Just to comment, I have been involved in the InterOil for 17 years, so I think I understand the trajectory quite well. Secondly, on choosing the CEO, we really, I think, keep those two things separate. We're looking at a long-term project to develop multi-billion dollar facility and we need to be drilling and doing seismic. It's a fairly, I think, extensive company for its size and we need a CEO who can manage that. And I don't think that the partnering process will affect what we're looking for or what we select

. : Great. And building on that comment about the kind of long nature of this opportunity, the current expectations are for the first stage here to be around the 4 million ton a year train, but I would assume, there is some expectations, and I'd love to get them some more color around that, that that would be a starting point and what can TCF of gross gas in the area that you would expect to add a second train in the kind of coming years. Is that a fair expectation? :

Yes, it is. And I think that with Dave described in Triceratops and some of other prospects, we anticipate that this will be a series of opportunities for train to be developed over the coming years.

That tells me IOC has long term plans to be around, have involvement in the LNG plant and a lot of focus on exploration.

That may be their plan, but, I would still be surprised if a major ( including the losers and winners of the selldown ), doesn't try to buy the whole company. Where else can you find such certfied current assets and potential for  a multiple of those in future assets. if I had the money/connections, I would do so. I n my 30 years of investing in energy cos. I have never encountered one that is as currently undervalued as IOC and with such a glowing future based on its potential assets and worldwide Lng need.
