A vaccine, yes, I agree that is an appropriate analogy. What Tree did is certainly not the type of medicine to cure anything. There was nothing in it to counter any argument or shed light on any problem. What it did was stir up the SHU immune system, presumably in the hope somebody out there can generate the hoped for antibodies. Unfortunately the only people that can put out those antibodies are IOC and XOM, and they ain't talkin. That the reason we got the needle?
Meanwhile, we all get the rash. " border="0" class="smilie" src="http://shareholdersunite.com/mybb/images/smilies/dodgy.gif" />

Will we or won't we...soon be treated to the following crap as stated within an article :
((WARNING: THIS IS ONLY AN ALERT))".....Well placed 'industry sources' tell pngindustrynews.n..... that the exclusive IOC-Exxon negotiations for a 4.6 Tcf sale to underpin a one train PNG LNG expansion have stalled and a continuation of talks is now in jeopardy. "
I give it a 60%-40%, yes it is printed. Just throwing it out there. If this happens I think we can expect a rapid IOC response.
Aren't glad you were inoculated a couple of weeks ago?
It is amazing that this:
EXXONMOBIL’S exclusive period of negotiations for a large stake of InterOil’s Elk-Antelope field in Papua New Guinea is finally over, according to an industry source.

The source told PNGIndustryNews.net that Exxon failed to close a deal and questioned why a press release was not made.
“It's dead,” the source said, before indicating that other pre-selected bidders have the opportunity to approach InterOil.
“They [InterOil] have opened it up again to others this morning.”
ExxonMobil has not commented on the matter"
into this this morning in Schwab:
"IOC falls after talks with XOM fail
IOC shares sank Friday after XOM's exclusive period of negotiations for a large stake of IOC's Elk-Antelope field in PNG ended without a deal, according to PNG, citing sources.
"It's dead" a source told PNG"

IOC's response may well be deal announcement.

Tree, as I said many times, as recent as last week, your insight is admired and appreciated, T

Yes, well done. Some of us have seen these pranks so many times that one can even predict what form the next one will take. Amazing stuff..

Pretty much dead on. The short "germ" incubated for a while and sprung out and should not have been a surprise due to this "vaccination", but it's sometimes hard to imagine that this kind of thing can happen. But it does, and not just to IOC.

And we had the 'IOC rapid response' as well.

Maybe we shoud inquire with XOM Shareholders to ascertain their interests. Do XOM shareholders want a SPA with IOC or not?

Tucker, so they've heard of you string of pearls on the XOM board. He thinks PNG LNG is a refinery but he's heard of IOC's wet gas filled reefs. Too funny.
Ask him why is it taking sooooo looooong?

I would suppose that they do not know either.
I will ask.
