In and by itself, having a house in Cairns isn't necessarily a sign of corruption or an other misdeed.

And it doesn't seem odd to me that one of the top ten leaders of a Country could potentially afford a 600k house even without being corrupt.  I'm not saying he's not on the take, but the existence of the house, on its own, doesn't actually establish much, JFT.  

Right, CAC.  Politicians elected to high office in the US, including Prez, typically become more wealthy.  They aren't corrupt. They are just lucky! :-)

All I'm saying is that one of the great achievements of civilization is trial by independent courts, however unevenly spread around the world, and the presumption of innocence until proven guilty. Let's not throw that baby with the bathwater and instigate trial by media here.

Duma might just be independently wealthy. I do not know anything about him, but often times in countries like PNG the politicians have money and/or family money.

Having a vacation home means nothing. Need much more concrete evidence to judge. I also surmise that Duma is a pretty smart dude. I think that even if he were ever to do something questionable, he would know how to do it right.
