I see this as good news/bad news.
Good news - we got rid of Phil and replaced him with Dr. Mike. Now an excellent deal will get done that is very positive for shareholders.
Bad news - Dr. Mike changes the game and parameters which is almost a total restart of negotiations (or partial restart specifically with XOM).
Therefore, I don't think the bid timelines six months ago are relavent today. Geez, I am starting to sound like an IOC old timer who bought in sub-$10. I don't expect any news this year but will be looking for a Q1, 2014 deal. I hope I am wrong and Dr. Mike executes with an earlier timeframe.

I never read any announcement about 2 deals being negotiated?
To my knowledge we are negotiating a SPA on PRL 15 for 4.6 TCF of wet natural gas.
I would hope that maybe 2 deals are being negotiating as being SPECULATED by resourcearb, Stavros and others on this board. Until I hear a company statement regarding that then I cannot give it much credit.

I have "heard" for a while that IOC is working on more than one deal, though the E/A deal is expected to be the first one and is the most important and is basically independent of any other deal(s). I asked WA a while back if IOC would speak of other deals in the future (from when I asked) and he laughed and acknowledged that their experience in announcing the E/A deal updates had been so bad, that they would not announce the status of other deals. Therefore, Cyber, I think you should not expect official IOC announcements on other deals being negotiated, but just have them announced when completed.
