I was told there are vicious rumors over on Yahoo, including Hession resigned. I don't believe that is true.

Some of the big boys in the states are cutting back on their exposure to the stock market. They appear to be a little worried about a significant correction that may/maynot happen in the very near future.
Could it be that one/some of the big boys holding IOC shares are maybe also cutting back on their exposure to IOC shares?

The Hession resigned poster has been on my ignore list for a long time.

Syd,
Go find the proof of that and then report back as far as it "could be". I could as easily say "It could be that shorts are attacking", or "it could be" that later today the big boys holding IOC will jump in to support. We've seen all of this before, so "it could be" it's business as usual with IOC.

Palm, Have a look at that sentence ....... it has a "?" at the end of it.
I assume you know what the difference between a "?" and a "." happens to be.

There is always one day during OE week of higher volume than normal, we are seeing it today. To Movieguys point of rumors of Hession resignation at the insane asylum, if not true than this is continuing pattern of bear raid that started last Monday. Seems shorts are pulling out all the tricks.

I wonder why?

johnathanweische is the poster of hession retired on the zoo and he's done that before. check his history.  This is a severe bear raid, into this expiration..   something must be close at ahand.   that's when the shorts do this.  imo

Certainly do Syd, and also know that maybe it's a good thing to go do some DD before posing such a question to see if the "?" is worth asking.  Call them up and they'll likely tell you nothing.  So you wait until they issue their quarterly reports between now and Nov 15.  You came here stating that you only like to deal with info that is out there and available to be dealt with based on its face value.  Seems you've shifted from that lately.
