They can't stop this train

I had a thought this morning that the share price will not have significant spikes down at least until the deal is announced.  If you are a short hedge fund you have to have a huge pair to stand in front of the train at this time.  Evidence the blip down this morning lasting just minutes before returning to even.

I'm expecting an off-hours Press Release from IOC when the deal does come, as opposed to a halt and announcement.

If that is the case, I could see a daily 'blip down' in the first hour each day that the announcement is not made pre-market. For anyone looking to get a few more shares, or options, might be a good timeframe to target.

(Disclaimer: I am no day trader and have no specific knowledge. My expertise is in picking the Philadelphia Eagles to win the NFC East on the strength of Nick Foles running Chip Kelly's offense, Tony Romo coming up short once again, Shanahan continuing to suffer through overpaying in the draft for RGIII, and Tom Coughlan's propensity to turn purple the deeper into the season he gets.)
