Yea, I fear you're right there, trans, thanks for the perspective. I remember IOC's undelivered share count reaching 6M in June 2008 and then magically disappearing, really curious.

Look aat GMCR after hours tonight.  This is a CEO who under promises and over delivers.  Only was as well to deal with shorts, naked short selling, skeptics etc.  Build credibility and deliver.  Still hasn't happen with IOC yet but there are signs its coming....and the market WILL reward that eventually.

It's quite easy to use the bid/ask to run a stock pps up or down when the transactions are between accounts within the same entity or group and both the buyers and sellers have the same goal in driving the pps.

Perhaps that explains a lot of the anomalies we have witnessed including big spikes in volume without the corresponding and expected change in pps.

Will be interesting to see what happens to GMCR pps over the next few days.  Tilson was one of the noisy shorts a few months ago.
