Longs like us the retail guys added to the drop by selling into it. This is the mentality right now, sell first before you ask questions. Unfortunately this is the market to which all of us has to live with!

The short sale rule kicked in at 12:07 pm per Bloomberg. Clearly the shorts were piling into it to buy the shares back at a lower price. They succeeded and they were good at it.

I'm really not sure I can muster any respect, let alone admiration for this, to be honest. It seems like a criminal activity to me with those fake twitter accounts..

I hear you, admin. What they did was illegal, but the SP did take a big drop which also casued some longs to sell into it and caused more downticks.  Now I see that the tech sector is also being hit including FB..hmm

That twitter account is newly registered, verified flag shows No, this so called 'Skynews anchor man' only has 6 followers, less than 10 tweets, mostly talks about NQ. He also spelt NetQin incorrectly.
Conclusion - no doubt fake account.

I get an email from Matthew Mathison and he has confirmed twitter rumor are false and untrue.
