CB on Bloomberg Radio
#1

He's attacking the validity of NQ's independent audit

-independent directors have no incentive to out fraud

-directors may have monetary interest involved

-Chinese gov't protect fraudsters

blah blah blah.

Pretty amazing Bloomberg continues to give this guy a platform to spew nonesense. Yet, no one has the guts to ask him, "were you wrong about FMCN/EDU/OLAM, etc."

Don't you wish that if you could call in to ask him that question(s)???  It will expose CB's weakness and faulty premises.

He is a scum bag and bloomberg gives him a platfrom to spew his non-sense. NQ just has to be more aggressive. Just like they put the blog entry out today which discussed NQ Live in a coherent and effective manner (in my opinion). They also have to cut SBS, since it has been such a point of discussion and criticism. Finally, I hope they study the most effective public companies and how they do things. ie: Capital Allocation and aligning management with shareholders and make the necessary changes to warrant strong holders to take a position in the company.

MW's page on Wikipedia used to have these companies listed under MW's track record section. Everybody interested could do a simple google search and see how wrong CB has been with the past 6-7 companies. But for some reason, these information have been deleted recently. And now, there are only two companies left visible on that page which is Sino forest and Olam International. I'm not sure the reason behind it, but it does help CB's reputation a little bit by removing negative track records and keeping positive ones.

Don't waste  your time on CB. He is finished. He piggy backed on others on his attacks with NQ. He did not do his homework. He was lazz.

[" I'm not sure the reason behind it"]

It isn't that hard to figure out.. Here from one of the Toro articles:

Muddy Waters is the most famous, if not exactly the most successful, China-focused fundamental short seller, so its track record is particularly interesting. (We exclude the notable Jim Chanos of Kynikos Capital who, in our opinion, invests fundamentally but with an overarching macro thesis.)

Below is a summarized history of MW attacks.
