If this is true, what's the reason for doing so when there's seemingly nothing new to discuss beyond what's been revealed in recent Conference Calls, PR's and the AGM? OR .... Will there perchance be something new revealed early in the week that they'll elaborate upon in the roady? If not then I'm not happy that money is being $pent to rehash(ish) olds. Use the following or flosh: USA will beat Belgium 3-1 with little trouble.

Perhaps what is to be disscussed is beyoud the detail of what was presented previous.  The AGM presentation prompter fast forwarded/reversed the slide  presentation.

Looked to me that there were at least 25 slides that flashed by.  0ne slide was of two rectangular mud pits side by side say 20 by 10. No cue what the function is or where they are.

Note; I am wrong about something at least three times a day...(The Wife).

The 25 slides were commercials for the PNG gas stations I think.

Golly bejebbers Palm. Here I was sitting at a AGM with field glasses, and you were viewing with a long looking glass.  A intuitive sense perhaps?

Sir Palm Ducks, rumor is that there is a fellowship from the University of Cambridge being considered.  Suspect their is a IPI root invester that is tickled green.

A 2M refinery transformed to a 525.6M sale.  Believe that's what investors refer to as wealth creation.  The stuff of legend.

This isn't Mom's old IOC anymore.

Happy Holidays

Yes Tucker- all those slides on the refinery and gas stations weren't worth showing; waste of time. Hohoho

Cambridge calling? Only with a full ride or Maybe the good Dr. will underwrite the whole thing.

MH has monetization as one of the legs of the chair. Everything must go! But wait, there's more! No hats at AGM as a cost cutting move has Orlando in a rage. He usually gets big money for those on eBay!  No summer vaca for him!

If the roadshow is to only introduce the new management team to the "Street" in hopes of picking up more anlayst coverage, that would be money well spent (especially in light of the dual listing that may occur at the end of the year). The more coverage, the more investors and the more liquidity.  All part of being a mature public company.  They for sure will not be sharing information that was not already made public prior to these meetings.

It is interesting that selling the downstream was not even reported to be rumored at the AGM. I guess that's the ultimate in under promising and over delivering...say nothing and tell everyone what you plan to do after you've done it. That, and the lack of hats, makes the new IOC AGMs appear superfluous. Might just as well have the next SHU IOC AGM at Club 64 in Denver.

New York is in the area of the country (and world) that would be the source of most new analyst coverage and investors, and therefore the best place for Singapore management to go and have the AGM and attract such people and meet with such people and travel to meet such people in such places as the financial and mutual fund center of Boston. Smart management and money well spent, I would say.
