Looks like we are in for a real shaky few months ahead with oil prices dropping significantly and in all probability most oil/gas shares will also trend lower.

Positive well news turns the tide.

Not sure I agree. Each bit of positive news has been an eventual decline in stock price. Short of oil or takeover, we languish. Keep drilling.
Remember, we are still down 47% from the 09 $75 secondary and there has been much positive news since then. My fear is that 2 or 3 major holders take this company private at a small premium.

But we're always going lower according to you.. it seems you have to sell yet again, for the umpteenth time, one of the more comical 'long's' I've experienced...

Did I say sell? For the record again, I sold half 3 weeks ago at just over 60. The only comedy here is your response to anyone with criticism. Are you on IOCs payroll? Deal with reality. This "investment" has been a dog for all of us for over 6 years. Including me.
When I am wrong about this stock going lower, let me know. I will re-buy in the mid 40s.

Nobody will take it private at this point and forget them putting it up for sale. With execs owning little or no stock their incentive is to stay the course for the time being. Oil will bottom soon and rebound and things will get back to whatever "normal" is.

As long as you've been here, you walk like a **, talk like a ** so after 30+ of these same messages, I started to entertain the thought that hey, perhaps you actually are a ** I have no problem with criticism. What I cannot stand is people speaking with forked tongues, reminds me of someone, as it happens..

There you go again - our resident Socialist on the attack. When my comments are not accurate, let me know. Keeping a scorecard on messages just proves my point.
I've owned this stock for over 7 years. Sometimes large quantities; sometimes smaller amounts. I've made money and lost money. As an investment, this stock has been a disaster. As a trader, one can make money. The real disaster will be when 2 or 3 major holders decide they've had enough. Then, there will be an LBO or forced changes. I understand you have a problem with me. That's OK. When I intentionally misrepresent, which I feel is what happens here on occasion, then ban me. Otherwise, let's stop the back and forth pi**ssing session.

I simply conclude a few things Nolan, which is:
1) You basically ALWAYS say it's going lower 2) You argue good news does not and will not have any effect Readers can simply go and check in your past messages to verify this. I'm simply wondering why one would pretend to be long and at the same time having and expousing these opinions. If there was still any doubt, the "admin being on IOC payroll" accusations simply rounds it off

At least lately, we have in fact "always been going lower". Based on the track record of PPS after what I keep being told has been "good news" over the last year or so, I don't think it's unreasonable to believe that a buyout is the only thing that will bring large PPS appreciation...at least until it becomes crsytal clear that a new plant is being built. Saying so...and still holding (while hoping for the buyout) aren't necesdsarily contradictory positions. In fact, it's pretty much what I'm doing. |
