I linked Ant 6 spud to Ant 4, not Ant South, as you claim. "Horse's mouth" some time ago.

Additional amounts already being enough or getting paid for "eventually" is not the way Hession has been talking publicly. Maybe there are discussions about whether engineers can start work before completion of an Ant 7? "No need to stress cash"? YOU have been stressing cash and talking about supposed need to conserve it short-term. "Horse's mouth" change your thinking there?

Same horse. "stressing cash" means running cash low, not emphasizing it.

Well, "stressing" cash for tens of millions that would be likely to generate additional hundreds of millions a few months later makes worlds of sense to me, and that is what Hession has been talking about, a judgment he needs to make and should be able to make better than any of us, recognizing he needs to get some workable agreement with Total if that is the judgment. As I am tired of pointing out, those hundreds of millions are worth a hell of a lot more in a few months than in five years or more, in more ways than one.

The reason the stock price is so low is because we are always getting paid for the hamburger next tuesday

Puts is correct but that all changes next year . A payment next year of @ $2 Billion changes everything . UBS's work shows a stock price in the $90 with that size payment .

It appears that we could have had that payment without A6. Someone on this board wants an A7. Why not A8 then Total will never have to commit. (frustrated sarcasm)

Per SPA they can't delay FID for drilling results . Fact without Ant 6 they have enough gas to sanction a 2 train plant . Why even drill 6?..but it could happen this way drill 6 then drill 7 at same time working on certification so no delay .If UBS is right with a 9.5 T P-1 number now then a P-2 number would be even higher . Or 10 T gets us cooking on a build .

I hear you, Palm. Thanks. It will be extremely interesting to see how all this proceeds. The undervaluation now is really ridiculous, but that's the market at times temporarily.
