I went to this site, and when I found Nauti!us, I clicked on the More Info button.  It took me to a DSMF site, and asserted that DSMF had fully acquired all assets, subsidiaries, etc. of Nautilus.

It looks like the business entity is still alive as it is a member of APNGBC and APIBC. The question now is where is the ship.....

I agree Bille - where is the $500 million, 80% completed and specifically designed mining ship? How can something like that just totally disappear three years ago?  Definitely hidden somewhere in my opinion.....

Came across this article about the International Seabed Authority finalizing regulations within the next 11 months after 20+ years of debate.

I believe the ISA votes on passing the mining code next week (August 1 - 5th) at the Assembly in Jamaica. If it doesn't pass the 167 country vote, whatever the code is currently is the actual mining framework because of the "2 Year Rule" triggered by Nauru. Seafloor mining could actually begin July 2023.  

If this is the case does Nautilus/DSMF & PNG finally move forward? Do we get final confirmation wether we're in or out?  Does the seafloor mining bonanza we all envisioned 10 years ago actually start??  F*ck if I know!!!!

The ISA ruling has no direct impact on Nautilus's PNG project Solwara1. That project is within PNGs EEZ and completely permitted/regulated by the PNG Goverment. The ISA rulings authority is regarding areas of the High Seas, if I recall correctly.
