Hopeful Thread
I think the fact that Tesla's shareholders voted against a moratorium against using deep sea mining minerals is progress. Obviously Tesla is a huge consumer of these deep sea mining minerals for their cars. And with the US government push to acquire these deep sea mining minerals makes it a forgone conclusion. Its not if but when....and if we will be acknowledged for our contribution.

....sorry Fong just more quantitative speculation not worth worrying about. Maybe with the stock price jumps you will have the qualitative information to engage

I think we're going to be rewarded for our patience. Seabed mining is the next huge industry and Nautilus owns all of the patents to be able to do it. Metallo & Mawarid spent 500 million on nusmf stock then let the company go bankrupt? Come on now - they are very smart people and could of had it for a fraction of that.

"Some expect a deal at the upcoming ISA meeting next month, which will produce final regulations by next summer. Others are not sure.

In theory, that wouldn’t matter to Japan — or Norway, Canada, the Cook Islands and Papua New Guinea, all of which want to start mining. Norway’s parliament gave the green light in January since the minerals are in the country’s EEZ. (Japan might be affected by a territorial dispute in waters near Okinotorishima in the Philippine Sea but that is not where the new find is located.) Japan has said that it would abide by ISA rules even though they need not strictly apply."

LongNautilus, what was sold off to the metals company (possibly others) as far as tenements? Is the metals company part of the group that helps Nautilus Minerals? There is a company now that usese IA to selectively pick up each individual nodule off the seabed floor without disturbing the environment, no plumes.

I hear they are selling their extraction tools...

Rumor, or can you post something.

Sorry no quantitative data to report other then the 4+ year for sale listing. Working on the bell curve to measure variance and gather a Z-score on the information.

May have to sit tight and hear a qualitative report from the ISA meeting to understand the intent of the industry.

Nautilus is still the only seabed mining company who is fully licensed to mine right now. Both exploration and extraction. If they chose to they could start mining Solwara 1 in PNG's territorial waters today. What are they waiting for??

Thank you NautilusLong. Does TMC own Nautilus or is it still a private entity unto itself?

TMC jumped 10% today. Can't find any news. Maybe insider buying? PS. No TMC does not own Nautilus. Nautilus leased or sold(i'm not sure) the rights to mine and are a vested partner. I think Nautilus is waiting to ensure TMC moves forward before they make their move
