Tree,

Why the fixation on the shorts?

Although various trading schemes can be frustrating, if you think about it, they have allegedly provided a lot of us with the opportunity to make super purchases and a lot of trading money in either shares or options.

So, I welcome the shorts, but all in all, just prefer to forget and/or ignore them.

Hey VS,

I'm far from fixated on shorts.

I simply pointed out CV's comments last week, and their effect on pps, show that IOC has the power to move pps like no other time with simple statements.  That gives them power to burn anyone short at any time.  That could come during OE or not.  Agree that a held back and seemingly manipulated share price has been beneficial to anyone accumulating/trading the last couple of years.  Since I play no options I have been taking advantage of trading with the swings to grow my pot.  Today may be a good day to trim if we go up quickly on this nothing news in the article today.
