Not on any of my financial monitors, not on flyonthewall, yet when there was a rumor of the 50/50 split that was EVERYWHERE. I hate to say that Wallstreet and the MM's manipulate the press bc I've worked in the industry my whole life but this is quite blatant. Whoever is shorting this thing is VERY well connected. [/quote
It has long been my personal view, and I think, the view of many others, that IOC's stock is being grossly manipulated. This is because IOC is a small company with a gigantic resource which the world desperately needs. In broad terms, this explains pretty much all of what is going on regarding IOC. It is a war of immense proportions to determine who gets the prize. As an IOC shareholder, I am interested in IOC keeping/developing its discoveries. If IOC looses this war, for whatever reason, I will still make a double or triple....but I will be disappointed.
If IOC's stock is being grossly manipulated why is there no game plan to counter this.
That is a relevant topic that should be driven up to management.
Of course most companies don't announce everything or counter false stories but they are established and have cash flow and earnings.
So we (the company) remain mute for months as false stories drag the market cap down over 1 billion dollars, let's spend 10 million and go after them.
When we hit the top or the reservior there should be a press release, one for every DST, press release for NEC approval. Has management got the SEC involved. Have Megan hound them every week. Let's go fight win. Other companies and CEO's have stopped this nonsense.
We will just lay down and let them beat us like a dog.
PS. I have expressed this to management, no response
