great possibilities )or not) ?

Sageo- Here is some stuff for you:

See Figure 2 here: http://www.kinapetroleum.com/pdf/info-memo-aug.pdf

Looks like the Ieru shale is the seal above the Toro Sandstone Reservoirs in the Northwest of PNG. At one time I thought I read where IOC said that the Pale/Subu sandstones would be equivalent to the Toro in the Northwest but this cross section shows the Pale sandstone to be slightly younger than the Toro and, therefore, should be more shallow. I am hoping that if and when we find the Pale/Subu sands below the Mindi Limestone we will have a shale seal between the limestone and the sandstones.

Here is something from a NGE site but I lost the link:

In the northwest of the licence the main reservoirs are
the Toro and Iagifu Sandstones which host oil and gas
production at Moran, Kutubu and South East Gobe. In
the southeast the primary reservoir comprises two
sandstones, the Pale Sandstone and the Subu Sandstone.
The secondary Eocene limestone is poorly understood
but is most likely fracture based and consequently has
low storage potential. Lost circulation in Moose-1 within
the Mendi Limestone confirm its fracture reservoir
potential.

Search this for Ieru and Pale.
