Last time I spoke with my wife about IOC, which was last night, she said it is ignorant to believe JKM is out of the picture. She doesn't believe that 40 days ago, O'Neill went to Japan to have Shinzo Abe tell him they were pulling out of the bidding. Hell it made sense to me!
Keep it on Ice,Hemip.s. I believe one should consider that IOC doesn't know when the selldown will be completed. I believe they know when the next round of bids will be due and when they will review them - but how is it possible for them to know if a bidder is going to re-up their bid? Every penny per Mcf equates approx to one dollar a share - so in my mind IOC should let this run to bidder exhaustion. Use or flush.
Has there been anything definitive on the re bid or bidding war. If I missed something I would like to know, I think some of this is in an article and then it becomes an urban legend. What from the company said we were in a bidding war?
