Press release today says, "On March 28, 2013 , the Minister for Petroleum & Energy approved and the DPE registered the deferral of the well commitments for PPL 236 and PPL 238."Also today, OSH is performing seismic work in PPL 237 where their lead appears to join Tri.Pre queued up for ambitious drilling programNow we need to worry about dry holes and disasters I imagine. More warning on that too later.Next up - the slaying of the PA expiry nonsense. All for the benefit of the ignorant masses. Maybe we will all learn and remember that as long as IOC/partners works in good faith and keeps Gov't advised they have no problem receiving Gov't cooperation.************
Exactly. The press release was TODAY. Which means we didn't know this yesterday...or on any prior day.
I'd say there's much more integrity in "being ignorant" on something; admitting it; and asking important questions...than in "being ignorant" on something but falsly claiming to "know" and then redundantly droning on about it anyway. As another poster once said...Enough Said.
Please don't describe me or anyone else except the posters that ignorantly piled on with you the other day. It pays to pay attention and keep gratuitous opinions and declarations to yourself. It also pays to back up what one's conclusions with evidence. That is what makes a post relevant and that fights ignorance.
And some wonder why the pps is volatile. It's not the shorts it's the wobbly longs.

We were all ignorant on the issue. If this was known and obvious there wouldn't have been so many SHU members rationally discussing it. More telling, IOC wouldn't have seen the need to announce "the news" today. Even IOC knew it needed to be addressed and most of us feel better today than we did yesterday for a reason. The idea that this was a nonissue (because you said so) is delusional. And again, what's your point in bringing it back up on the Board today? My first grader has less of a need to get the last word than you do. Comical.
