Brooklyn,
I understand your eagerness to launch a media campaign. And the type of media blitz you are requesting is typical for a business to consumer campaign.
What Destiny has is not a business to consumer campaign. It is business to business. Which means the sales cycles are longer and the decisions are harder to switch to an 'untested' new technology.
It is one thing for a consumer to pick up the latest iPad - at $300-$500 it is a relatively low risk if it is something they don't like. On the other hand a company that buys into a new technology would be investing tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars - making the risk much higher.
Take into consideration that the companies Destiny will be approaching have been presented with new ways to play video before and each one of them promised better play back and lower costs. Right now G2 would just be among those promising the same thing - especially without a true working example.
They have a small window to prove themselves to these companies and if their product isn't up to snuff - they loose them. A smart campaign is to hold your cards until you are ready for launch - then release the lions - hit targeted companies from multiple angles - make them notice.

Intel's new TV box
Intel will be embracing the H.265 codec recently developed and just approved by the ITU, which should provide better video over less bandwidth, but will make getting support across devices a challenge.
