So why not just say that? 

EXACTLY ! This is a serious investment for most of us.

Short rumors are everywhere every day and yesterday was no exception and neither will be today.

There is no depth the shorts will not go to is there?  There was no 'we' involved in this thread and the more contingencies we discuss and prep for the better.
