LNG Supremacy
#7

Gentlemen, if you look at my first post in this thread, you will see that I highlighted this " The only way to "quickly" add supply ".

Could I have made it any clearer what I was targeting my response towards?

My response in no way was targeting about the economics of using PRL15 gas, it was targeting " The only way to "quickly" add supply ".

Thank you TxPm for responding to my  actual reply. It is true there are only a limited number of American projects approved at the moment. I also totally agree that not all or even most of the American projects will get approval. I just believe if one set up a race between adding an extra(2nd train) for PRL 15 gas to the PNG LNG plant and converting an American LNG import terminjal, the American conversion wins by a long margin.

The work on the American plant is so much less and in a much better geographic location for construction. The time spent getting approval for an American project, although long, would also be shorter, in my view, than the time (months) for IOC and XOM to negotiate another deal, extra negotiations with PNG government because again this extra gas would not be used in a new LNG plant (politics), and all that extra work involved in the construction.
