I believe they are finishing up the seismic work that is a joint operation with OilSearch in the northwestern part of Triceratops. This will give us a better understanding of the north and western extent of the Triceratops field and determine if the Field crosses the line on to the Kina License PPL 338. If it appears to be present on PPL 338, OilSearch, Total and Kina will drill a well on the PPL 338. This is part of the requirement for OilSearch to earn their interest in the farm-in. If they drill the required wells the PPL 338 will be 35% each to OilSearch and Total and Kina will retain 30%.
After completing the joint operation with OilSearch the crew will obtain a couple of more lines at Triceratops in PPL 237 for IOC and Pacific Rubiales to help identify the best location for the next well or wells.
After completing the seismic work at Triceratops additional work will be done at Raptor for IOC and Pacific Rubiales in PPL 237. We apparently have a bit more seismic data at Raptor than I had previously known about. You can see this at http://www.interoil.com/iocfiles/documen...s_Conf.pdf page 15
The seismic crew will then move to PPL 238 do some seismic work at the Jaguar and Leopard prospects which have been preliminarily identified with gravity and magnetic surveys. These prospects are north of a line between Triceratops and Elk/Antelope. See http://www.interoil.com/iocfiles/documen...inal-1.pdf page 21. Also see page 22 Triceratops Lead A and B.
This work is going to take many months. I hope they can get an additional seismic crew or two to speed up this process.
As you can see the work is concentrated in the Triceratops to Elk/Antelope area as promised by Michael Hession.
