I have owned property in Puerto Vallarta Mexico since 1994 .This is the Jalisco district home of Tequila.This last time my friendly Mexican bartenders shared this glorious recipe with us.
For two drinks
MUST have a machine that shaves ice.Like the Fiji model Jimmy Buffet Margaritaville machine. Hint its on sale at Amazon now
Tequila Type matters-use 2 shots of Blanco Tequila like Herrado
Mexican Contry-Mexican Orange liquer,or the French version or Triple Sec. The Best is the Mexican-use 2 shots,Sold in the US.
Mexican sugar water- or your sugar water, best is Mexican-use 1 shot
Lime juice-Use 1 shot
Margarita glass
margarita salt for the rim-buy that on Amazon or at Home Goods.Buy the rimmer tray from Amazon also
This drink is quite strong and you are now warned of such
Hint Mango can be substituted for lime.
