"Oil Search is thought to have an understanding with Total that if Total won the deal with InterOil, it would bring the PNG player into the venture involving the PRL 15 licence that holds the two fields. Total and InterOil are planning a separate LNG project using gas from Elk and Antelope."

Did I miss this language somewhere before, because it is the first I have seen of it. It implies that Total and OSH had a verbal agreement that they would have a stake in PRL 15 if they close with IOC. What am I missing here? That is significant is it not?

Good luck longs
