Here's the boots on the ground report
Hession has assembled an army of drill masters 2,000 person strong
At the peak of the refinery build IOC had 600 workers working. Or this is a big deal.
A statement to the PNG govt we are serious . See how serious Duma!
What will all these people do ?..Others need to help here!
I suppose do not know that we may have 6 crews for 6 rigs now ??Other persons can prepare future drill sites?
The new rigs need to be assembled at the well heads.
These rigs have 3 1/2 times the horse power of the other rigs
They can bore a larger starting hole
Its all happening big time !
Exciting!
JFT - I was looking for the source of you 2,000 man workforce number but couldn't locate it. Generally IOC is shown to have about 1,100 employees, and I trust that was before Hession shut down the construction and projects divisions. Was your 2,000 an estimate of what they would need to hire for "X" new wells being worked simultaneously or did I miss an announcement somewhere?
TIA
