In such a corrupt country like PNG a man in white like O'Neill, while in the right to bring appropriate change will not be received well. However, maybe he is meeting with the consortium at their request. Could it be that they are interested in being a part of such a big project IF PNG changes it's ways and becomes an honest country? Maybe thie timing of the arrests over the past few days are not a coincidence. Maybe it is the spoken request by the consortium that the house must be cleaned up before they come into the mix. This would also give O'Neill a reason to jump so aggressively. Changing the corrupt nature of the country and bringing in of loads cash along the way!! It will be an interesting couple of week. I echo other's comments and thank all of the contributors to the site. Wit a resource!!!
