Obviously MS has heard the same things others have; a partial or complete sale of the refinery and rest of downstream would create additional cash for IOC. The lease wouldn't be affected as they are using the laydown area for LNG staging and who knows where the final site will be for the LNG plant itself. Last year there were rumors that Shell had visited the refinery as well as others. With PNG LNG now in production the whole picture of PNG has changed.
