As we approach the AGM set for 3 weeks from today, I have to ask myself a few questions that I would like to share with others that have skin in the game.
First question. What is the incentive for a shareholder to attend this years AGM? Is it to hear commentary then the Q&A about drilling programs?. Or is it about hearing drilling results? Given all that we know about timelines, the results should very likely be known or at a minimum, some results. I cannot fathom why anyone would want to attend to hear about something that is not positive. Personally, I could care less about delineation wells, we all know about that from past presentations. So if in fact there is to be some excitement wouldn't positive results be the carrot to attend? And if so are there some here that are waiting to know about what is going on with drilling at Wahoo, Bobcat and Raptor before they make plans? After all, the closer to the date the more expensive the travel. It's not like years past when Tusker is going to be hosting events at the Spinnaker, that alone would have been tempting.
Second question. Hession's one year anniversary is now just a little over 5 weeks away. Would it be considered too outlandish to think that Hession did not have some goals for his first year besides executive compensation and incentive plans? And yes, I know he did the transformational deal in December 2013 and hope that isn't his first year plan. 6 month plan? Sure. But not first year.
Third question. Is there anyone here that would go to this meeting just to see Hession in front of the room instead of in the back?
