These people are simply both stupid and ignorant. Unfortunately those who lead their opinions are not stupid but in fact quite shrewd. As has been said for the better part of the past 200 years, 'there's a sucker born every minute'.
I continue to fly a 48 star American flag on holidays for a couple of personal reasons, but I'm growing to hope it once again becomes official. Independent countries of Texas and, say, Alabama might be a good thing for the Union.
