I am, by no means, defending Seeking Alpha or any of its authors or editors, but simply clarifying that they do exercise some editorial control over the articles that they publish and that they have full time editors to do so. I think that you can also see from the quote below that their editorial definition of 'credible' may not be quite the same definition as SHU posters would find reasonable.

One final point:

"Seeking Alpha tries to select outstanding articles from credible authors and edit them for clarity, consistency and impact."
