SA is a platform, many times it's very difficult to assess articles even if one is quite familiar with the company in question and since they cannot hire editors who are specialists in every US listed company, one can imagine the task should they attempt, otherwise than to check for sources and language and stuff like that. So quality and intentions vary widely.
They argue that if you have objections to an article you should submit your own and something like a 'wisdom of the crowd' process ensues.
