Yes... Resource is the reason for the O&G industry making news in PNG.  It is a frontier area, one of the last onshore, world class exploration arenas available to private industry.  The top 20 energy commerical holders in the world are SOC's  XOM is number 20.

This is basic conventional onshore NG in proximity to the largest market for LNG in the world. Why do you think that XOM went there with such a investment considering all of the obstacles they over came.  Goldman got it right.  COST !!!  Where XOM goes, others will follow.
