I communicated with the reporter on the Taureka interview and my read is that he asked Taureka a standard question and got what to me seems like a standard answer, but to him felt newsworthy. I don;t think Taureka was trying to send a message to the Chinese or anyone else. I do think the price will be in the 70's as soon as it is confirmed that the wells communicate ( and they may have a good idea tonight ) and therefore that there will be a $30-$50/sh cash payment to IOC this late Fall, which is driving all the buyout speculation.
