Phil would have died trying to keep IOC independent. Hession's ego much like Phil's and he wants to grow IOC and be on the Forbes cover. Hession has the drive, team and compensation incentive to grow IOC as an independent with the luxory of a 37 mill insurance policy if/when the BoD pulls trigger on a takeover. Surely Botten has similar insurance. What does O'Neill prefer?
