And it consistently seems to happen the day before the conference call.  The key to stopping all of this is Hession can simply state that the initial flow test clearly shows all of the A-wells are in pressure communication with A5.  This statement alone is worth $10/share in my opinion by validating IOC modeling and telling all of the shorts that these are not pockets of gas, but one large reservoir.

Good luck longs.

I'll take the "Good luck" but argue with the suggestion that continuity between wells is worth $10/share.  The entire Eastern Papuan Basin is comprised of sedimentary rocks with fractured carbonate deposits hundreds and in some areas over a thousand meters thick.  Extensive seismic mapping has been done in the Antelope discovery. There is no question given the underlying geology Antelope wells are connected.  Anybody making trading decisions on Antelope geology has already recognized that fact.  This leaves the source of new investment being organizations dealing in more fungible mediums than geologic information.  I suspect the next share price movement to be generated by investment analysts who can covert TCF into dollars using the Total PSA translator.

The wild card of course is the organization with petrogeologic expertise interested in acquiring the whole of IOC.  The moderating influence is the CEO whose stock bonuses are based on dollars, not shares, thereby providing an incentive to keep the cap on share prices as long as possible (neglecting for a minute his parachute fabricated from threads spun with the finest gold)
