I actually listened to the SR "infomercial" on deep sea mining back in the day and followed the crumbs. When I came up with Nautilus, I was intrigued and bought a small stake. Through the years I wondered if it would become another Gold Sands Development Company ( anybody out there fall for that one?). But I kept averaging down over the Nautilus / PNG tumultuous years to what for me is a decent sized stake. With the positive forward momentum, I keep hoping that was the right decision.
BTW - did you see the recent "come on" re the gold price rise this year? If that gold rise comes to pass, valuation of Nautilus should rise even before first ore. But will it fall again before we get there (2018) even if their gold price rise prediction system does work and gold goes up this year? Maybe we will get to "proof of concept" to counter the decline in gold price. I do not think I heard what percentage of the gross projected per year was from gold and what is from the other metals for the first couple production years. Anybody have that at their fingertips?
I am a subscriber of various of their (Stansberry) newsletters. But often try to take their teasers and find the stock myself. Either they give too much away or I am better at Google than I thought I was- lol. There seems to be an element of pump and dump but since their subscribership is so huge and loyal, their recommendations can cause a pump sensation in the price to appear like P&D.
