Isikeli Taureka has been appointed to the board of Papua New Guinea-focused exploration company InterOil.
Taureka is a PNG national who had a long career with Chevron prior to joining InterOil in 2013 as executive vice president for PNG.
He was elected to the InterOil board last week at the company's annual general meeting in New York.
